In the September  newsletter I wrote about the advantages of working with 1 large photo. At this  workshop we  used  castaway ink  techniques to create subtle backrounds for the LARGE PICTURE PROJECT

Twitter Challenge !

Twitter Challenge !

September 11th, 2009

I was watching “PS I Love You” for the N th time last night .I love the photos that go along with the opening credits. All black and white pictures of parts of faces ,The smile, the eyes really nice.

Spookily I found this challenge this morning  courtesy of “Scrap Witch”

Here it is.

” Would like you to take a photo of a pair of EYES….
they can be your own, your dog, cat, a statue, friend, neighbour, maybe even a stranger (if you are game!!)… what ever takes your fancy…

Then I would like you to JOURNAL about those eyes…
I want you to consider what those eyes represent to you… what do you see in those eyes… what do those eyes hide… what do you think those eyes see about themselves… what events/people have those eyes seen in the past… I want to know what is special about those eyes!!”

Love it if you would  join me this weeks  in this challenge.  Join me on Twitter to bounce ideas back and forth.

There is a big space on the gallery just waiting for your layouts.

Layout of the Month August.

August 16th, 2009

There are 2 this month I just couldn’t choose .I like the way the ladies have  used  the same basic design concept but make it their own.

For this workshop we used the photos from our Digital photography master class at Tehidy.
