The Enchanted Garden Scrapbooking and photography weekend
This is my main event of the year,
The setting is the Meudon Hotel near Falmouth,
The event runs for 4 days, 7th October - 10th October.
The theme for the weekend is The Enchanted Garden.
Set in its own sub tropical gardens the hotel makes the ideal setting for
the photography masterclass.
You will spend a day with a professional photographer looking at ways you
can improve your photographic skills.
The photo shoot will be looking at composition,and focusing on
colour ,texture, and close ups.
Hot off the press now previewing at the summer CHA is the new
Prima range " Fairy Flora"
Due for release in September you will be one of the first to use
this in your projectsover the weekend .
As part of the package you will recieive not only the papers
but also a selection of flowers and crystals.
So if you have a real weakness for lace , crystals and flowers,
and you love the layered and detailed look but don't know how
to achieve it .This weekend will be perfect for you .

Booking Information
The price for this 4 day retreat is £380 per person (for information on the easy payment plan contact linda@justscrapbooking ) The price is based on three night's accommodation, and all meals from dinner on Thursday evening to breakfast on Sunday. Sunday Lunch after the final session is an optional extra. A starter pack of materials for use during the course is also included within the price. As well as a series of challenging classes throughout the weekend!
We pride ourselves in the informal relaxed atmosphere of our events, and that is why places are limited to a maximum of 16 people per Retreat. In this way we can be assured you get as much out of your weekend as possible. Therefore, early booking is advised.
Closer to the start of your weekend you will be sent details of the course content, and advice on size and number of photos you will need for the various projects.

Itinerary for the Long Weekend
Day 1 – Thursday
- Delegates arrive - Check in and crop room available from 2.00pm
- Weekend course begins 3.00pm with coffee followed by an explanation of the projects in store.
- Workshop 1 starts at 4.00pm
- Master class using innovative techniques /materials which will be incorporated into the layouts.
- Dinner 7.00pm
- Crop room available for those who wish to continue scrapbooking into the wee small hours!
- Or just relax after your long journey.
Day 2 - Friday
- Workshop 2 starts 9.30 am
- Digital photography Master Class This is a chance to get out and enjoy the Hotel gardens and private beach
- Lunch 12.30pm
- Workshop 3 starts 2.00pm Another new technique.
- Dinner 7.30pm
- Time to relax and do your own thing.The dedicated among you will no doubt craft till late.
Day 3 –Saturday
- Workshop 4 starts 9.30 am
- Lunch 12.30pm
- Workshop 5 starts 2.00pm
- Time to create a layout using the photos you took on Friday.
- Dinner 7.30pm
- Free scrapbooking session. The tutor will be on hand to offer one – one advice on your individual projects.
Day Sunday
- Workshop 6; 9.30am -
- Course closes with coffee and competition winner announcements at 1.00pm.Please dont feel you have to rush off! you are more than welcome to stay a while longer have lunch and finish off your individual projects before your departure.
A shop full of scrapbooking essentials is available you over the duration of the weekend.
